Verify providers independently

Before any foundation work begins, confirm the provider's city contractor registration, insurance coverage, warranty terms, and written scope of work. Note that Texas does not issue a state license for foundation repair contractors — no such license exists, so any advertised “state licensed foundation contractor” credential should be questioned. Where a professional engineer is involved, that engineer's license can be verified with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Nothing on this site is a representation about any specific provider's qualifications unless expressly stated with that provider's verified details.
